Note: Ms. Licata has completed the Protecting God's Children training in the Archdiocese of Newark and the Safe Environment training in the Archdiocese of New York.  In addition she is also a certified Protecting God's Children Facilitator.

About Stephanie
For over thirteen years, Stephanie Licata has been in serving Catholic youth and families. As a teacher, retreat director, high school campus minister and service director, and parish youth minister, Ms. Licata has worn a variety of hats! 

The spark for dynamic ministry was ignited as a teenager by her ten years of involvement with Capuchin Youth and Family Ministries in Garrison, NY. At a young age she started two vibrant parish youth programs and served in parish youth ministry for ten years at St. Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights, NY and St. Anthony's in Nanuet, NY. In addition she served as a confirmation coordinator and catechist. 

Inspired by her work with teens, Ms. Licata began her own retreat ministry in 2001. She has created and presented hundreds of retreats covering a wide variety of themes. In addition she served as a retreat presenter for the Passionist Retreat house in Riverdale, NY, as well as a retreat content consultant for Mt. Manresa Jesuit retreat house in Staten Island, NY. Stephanie regularly leads retreats to teens and adults and reaches an average of 10,000 individuals annually throughout the tri-state area. 

Ms. Licata is currently the Director of Service and Mission Advancement  at Immaculate Heart Academy high school in Washington Township,NJ. She oversees the retreat program, liturgical activities, and directs a large Christian service program.  Ms. Licata served as the chairperson of a Middle States Action committee whose goal was to transform the current service program to serve more people in need.Ms. Licata trains the leaders of over 20 service groups to lead and empower their peers to participate. These groups reach out to the homeless, those with special needs, underprivileged children, and the elderly.   She has brought parents and faculty together to join in this effort. 

Ms. Licata has coordinated numerous large service and fundraising events and campaigns. She regularly uses her passion for service and leadership in partnership with her expert organizational skills.  She recently began teaching a course she designed in study and organizational skills that guides students in developing tools and confidence to ensure success. 

In addition to her degree in Pastoral Counseling, Ms. Licata has received a professional certification in coaching at New York University. She is also and currently pursuing a Masters in Religious Education at Felician College. With over 8 years of previous training as a professional coach, Ms. Licata regularly empowers people to ellicit the best of who they are.
 

Ms. Licata is an inspirational and charismatic individual who exudes enthusiasm for changing the lives of others. Being part of several parent and student events she has led has been both gratifying and life-changing for me. Ms. Licata's enthusiasm is contagious. She is a truly gifted individual who reaches the hearts of others through her commitment to making a change. She motivates others to dig deep and realize their own potential.
