"For the past two years I have had the privilege of working with Ms. Stephanie Licata at Immaculate Heart Academy. After several years at IHA, Ms. Licata stepped forward and created a Service Board for both parents and students, each meeting separately but teaming together for events. As an alumna and parent of a current Junior, I was delighted to participate in this new Board. In a brief period of time, Ms. Licata has opened the eyes of our students to the marginalized of the community and has directly involved the girls in having an impact on their lives. I believe that it is the work of Ms. Licata, and the Service Board that she created which is the salient feature of Immaculate Heart Academy. No other school in our area offers such a program, and she has inspired the entire IHA community to become involved to make a difference.
